Captain Mike’s journey began in May of 2007 when he purchased his first boat with the intention of fishing for fun and perhaps participating in a few tournaments. However, the economic downturn shortly thereafter presented a new challenge. Rather than parting with his beloved boat, Captain Mike saw an opportunity to start a Galveston fishing charter. He began guiding part-time to supplement his income, and soon enough, guiding became his full-time passion and career.

Captain Mike’s expertise spans from guiding center consoles offshore out of Freeport to running private sport fishers out of Galveston. His knowledge of the local Galveston Bay systems and offshore waters is unparalleled. Over the past 17 years, he has transformed countless fishing trips into experiences of fun and self-fulfillment for his clients.
